Recently, deputy president and professor CHENG Guoqiang started to be in charge of the work of DRC subsidiary Information Center. The center is responsible for collecting information and data resources for DRC, building information processing system, exchanging information with other organizations and providing information consultation service to the society; editing the internal research outcomes; editing several periodicals; maintaining two main web sites (www.drc.gov.cn; www.drcnet.com.cn); and also organizing research projects. prof. Cheng is a famous agricultural economist focusing on macro agricultural economy and international trade.
