President DU Meets with Chief Commodity Analyst from Australia DAFF

On June 5, CSFAE President Du Zhixiong, meets with Dr JAMMIE PENM, Chief Commodity Analyst and Assistant Secretary of Agricultural Commodities and Trade (ABARES), under the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry(DAFF).

During the meeting, A profound discussion was on the long term food demand and supply in China (say 2025 to 2050) and associated issues as well.

In view of cost increases in labor salary, land rent and water use fee in China's agricultural sector, president Du thought that China's agricultural product price in the future 25 years will remain at high level and will witness a mild growth even.
