call for Essays and Notice of Meeting in 2021
2021 is the centenary of the Communist Party of China. It is also the first year of the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and marching towards the second centenary goal. It is of landmark significance in the process of China's modernization. At this important historical node, the 2021 member congress and academic seminar of the China foreign agricultural economic research association (hereinafter referred to as the "2021 meeting") is scheduled to be hosted by Nanjing agricultural university from October 22 to 24, 2021. this annual meeting coincides with the 100th anniversary of agricultural economic academic education in Nanjing agricultural university. all scholars and experts are warmly welcome to participate in the academic grand meeting.
As a result of the neo-coronary pneumonia epidemic, the pattern of global economic development is undergoing profound changes, and China's economy has withstood the impact and taken the lead in achieving positive growth among the world's major economies, which is inseparable from a solid foundation for food security and the steady development of agriculture and rural areas. However, the impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic is still continuing, and it is of special importance to explore the path of agricultural and rural modernization in China in the new era from a global perspective and to deal with new problems and challenges. The Association is guided by senior management, assistant employment and enriching the people, and will launch the essay-writing activities for the 2021 meeting from now on. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. submission qualification
all members of the Association are eligible to contribute. Non-members participating in essay-writing activities must submit an application for membership through the Association's website before submitting their contributions and indicate it on the contributions they have submitted.
2. Essay Themes and Topics
the theme of the essay is "the new pattern of agricultural development under the global century change". The theme of the essay includes a number of topics, including but not limited:
(I) the Communist Party of China in a hundred years of agricultural modernization exploration and experience;
(II) the 14th Five-Year Plan and China's Agricultural and Rural Development in 2035;
(III) global food crisis and China's food security;
(IV) the changes in the international economic and trade pattern and the impact of Sino-US trade frictions on agricultural development;
(V) agricultural risk prevention and control mechanism and countermeasures to deal with social emergencies;
(VI) poverty governance transition theory and international experience;
transformation and comparison of agricultural and rural policies in (VII) high-income countries;
(VIII) food and health economic trends.
3. Essay Organization and Thesis Evaluation
under the leadership of the president's office, the (I) essay solicitation activities are organized and implemented by the paper evaluation committee. The paper evaluation committee formulates this year's essay collection and paper evaluation plan, and sets up an essay collection working group to be responsible for the management of essay collection.
(II) the Association conducts academic evaluations of submitted papers that meet the requirements. The evaluation of papers adopts unified standards, follows the principles of quality first, openness and fairness, advocates academic, originality, and ideological nature, encourages foreign agricultural research and international comparisons for domestic needs, and encourages original and responsive papers and research reports.
The (III) will:(1) give priority to speeches at the annual meeting;(2) recommend to publications such as China's Rural Economy, China's Rural Observation, Reform and World Agriculture in the name of the Research Society.
(IV), the meeting will arrange the conference proceedings for the meeting for the exchange of papers that meet the requirements.
4. submission requirements
each (I) can only contribute one article as the first author or corresponding author.
(II) contributions should be unpublished original works. The paper should not have been published at the time of submission. If the paper has been submitted to an academic journal, the submission information shall be indicated; if the submitted paper is published before August 2021, the author shall notify the research society in time to facilitate the corresponding processing.
Please refer to the writing paradigm of academic journals such as "China's Rural Economy" and "China's Rural Observation" for (III) papers. Please refer to "China's Rural Economy" for the style of the paper, including the title, author's name and unit, Chinese abstract, keywords, text and references. The number of words in the paper is generally about 10000-15000 words.
(IV) documents are in Microsoft Word document format, please do not provide PDF version. The file name is in the form of the title of the paper_the name of the first author. At the beginning of the document, indicate the contribution topic and the publication information. The example format is as follows:

5. meeting arrangements
on October 22, it was reported that the all-day academic seminar on October 23, the academic seminar on the morning of October 24, and the meeting left at noon.
