USDA: U.S. wheat quarterly inventories expected to be 1.042 billion bushels

the U.S. Department of Agriculture plans to release its quarterly inventory report next Monday, March 31, showing U.S. wheat stocks on March 1.

A Reuters survey of analysts before the report showed that analysts on average expected all U.S. wheat inventories to be 1.042 billion bushels on March 1, lower than the same period last year.

For comparison, U.S. wheat stocks were 1.463 billion bushels on December 1, 2013 and 1.23 billion bushels on March 1, 2013. (Source: Master Boyi)
