The research society held the fourth president's office meeting

The fourth president's office meeting was held in Beijing.

On the afternoon of August 23, 2014, the China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association held the second president's office meeting in 2014 in the conference room of the Institute of Rural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Attending the meeting were President Du Zhixiong; Wang Jianing, Jiang Changyun, Zhu Lizhi, Xu Hui, Sun Dongsheng, Tan Qiucheng, Ni Hongxing (replaced by Lu Xiangdong) and other six vice presidents. The meeting specially invited Deng Rong and Liu Shu, two supervisors of the board of supervisors in Beijing, to attend the meeting. Secretariat Tan Xuewen, Hu Glacier and Li Liyuan attended the meeting. The president's office meeting first listened to the report of Secretary General Tan Xuewen on the work of the research association in the first half of the year, reviewed the list of new applicants, and made specific arrangements for the work of the research association in the second half of the year, especially for the collection of papers and the evaluation of excellent papers. At the same time, the meeting put forward ideas on the long-term development strategy of the research society, such as expanding the influence of the research society. Finally, President Du Zhixiong put forward specific requirements for the work of the Secretariat.
