China: Oilseeds and Products Annual 2026
This report was prepared by the Agriculture Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Overseas Agriculture Bureau in China. It is a global agricultural information network series and is a first-hand information material for understanding China's agricultural production, marketing, trade and policies. The annual report predicts that China's soybean imports in 2026/27 will reach 0.108 billion tons, an increase of 2 million tons over the previous year. Domestic oilseed crushing consumption is about 0.179 billion tons, and imports still account for about 60% of domestic oilseed consumption. The report pointed out that China's reduction of tariffs on Canadian rapeseed and rapeseed meal will partially restore related imports. At the same time, the decline in population and changes in diet structure have weakened the demand for edible oil. Global Agricultural Information Network reports have clear country and commodity labels, which are irreplaceable sources for studying the supply and demand and policies of agricultural products in China and other countries.
