U.S. Wheat Crop Quality Report

Published annually since 1979 by the American Wheat Association, this report provides global buyers with data on the quality of wheat produced in the United States. The 2026 soft red winter wheat quality survey collected 196 samples from 11 states (covering about 69% of the production) and concluded that it was of good quality and suitable for biscuits and crispy products. The report covers indicators such as wheat grade, protein and moisture content, milling and baking performance, and is an objective basis for importing countries to assess the applicability and supply chain reliability of U.S. wheat, all of which are free and public.
