according to a report released by ADM Investment Services, most analysts expect 55.4 million acres of all wheat to be planted in the United States in 2015, down from 56.8 million acres the previous year. If weather conditions are normal, average U.S. wheat yields could approach 45.7 bushels per acre in 2015, up from 43.7 bushels per acre in 2014. That means nearly 2.145 billion bushels of all U.S. wheat were produced this year, down from 2.206 billion bushels the previous year. If wheat demand is close to 2.175 billion bushels, up from 2.077 billion bushels in the current year, US wheat ending stocks will be close to 0.82 billion bushels in 2015/16, compared with the USDA's forecast of nearly 0.684 billion bushels in 2014/15.
