according to the forecast data released by MDA CropCast, an agricultural meteorological agency under the United States Earth Satellite Meteorology (EarthSat Weather), the global corn production forecast for 2015/16 remains unchanged at 0.9599 billion tons, 1.7 less than in 2014/15.
This week MDA CropCast maintained the 2015/16 U.S. corn production forecast unchanged at 13.8 billion bushels, down 3.9 percent from the 2014/15 record. For comparison, the U.S. Department of Agriculture currently expects U.S. corn production to be 13.63 billion bushels in 2015.
MDA CropCast predicts that China's corn production will reach 0.2241 billion tons in 2015, which is lower than the current forecast of 0.228 billion tons by the US Department of Agriculture.
The forecast value of other countries also remains unchanged. In 2015/16, Brazil's corn production roller is 72.7 million tons, and Argentina's corn production is expected to be 25.1 million tons. Ukraine's corn production is expected to be 26.2 million tons, and Russia's corn production is expected to be 11.5 million tons.
