National Seminar on Curriculum Construction of Foreign Agricultural Economy in Colleges and Universities Held in Beijing on 24th

on October 24, 2015, the National Seminar on "Foreign Agricultural Economy" Curriculum Construction in Colleges and Universities was held at Renmin University of China on October 24, 2015. The meeting was hosted by the Teaching Steering Committee of Agricultural Economic Management Specialty of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education and the China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association, and undertaken by the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development of Renmin University. More than 30 teachers from more than 20 universities across the country attended the seminar. Professor Tang Zhong, chairman of the "Education and Guidance Committee" and Professor Tang Zhong of the Agricultural Development College of the National people's Congress, Professor Zeng Yinchu, secretary general of the "Education and Guidance Committee", and du Zhixiong Research Institute, president of the Research Association, attended the meeting. The meeting exchanged the opening and teaching situation of foreign agricultural economy-related courses in various universities, discussed the idea of compiling the textbook "Foreign Agricultural Economy" put forward by Zeng Yinchu, and made a preliminary agreement on the division of labor in the compilation of the textbook. At the meeting, it was agreed that the "Teaching Committee" and the Research Association would promote the compilation of teaching materials with their respective advantages. Xia Zhicui, editor of China Agricultural Publishing House, introduced the publishing of teaching materials.
