2015 EU wheat production forecast raised to 0.149 billion tons

the monthly data released by the European Commission this week showed that the EU's soft wheat production in 2015 will reach 0.1492 billion tons, 4.6 million tons higher than the forecast last month, and also higher than the record 0.1487 billion tons last year.

The European Commission also raised its 2015 EU barley production forecast from 59 million tons to 60.9 million tons this month, up from 60.2 million tons the previous year. The 2015 EU corn production forecast was lowered from 58.4 million tons to 57.4 million tons, which is far lower than the previous year's record of 77.9 million tons.
