Zhu Xinkai: Agriculture should not bear too much responsibility for inflation
Abstract: Starting from the objective understanding of China's macroeconomic phenomena, this paper analyzes the serious consequences of the excessive weight of food prices in the composition of CPI in China, and points out that reducing the weight of food prices in the composition of CPI, perfecting the statistical structure of CPI, and publishing the CPI index and the "core CPI" index can effectively avoid the macroeconomic policy being misled by CPI. This paper puts forward some suggestions to correctly understand the price fluctuation of agricultural products, formulate sound and comprehensive agricultural regulation and control policies, and ensure the long-term stable and healthy development of China's agriculture.
