The actual state of family farm development and policy support: international experience
Family farms are the most common agricultural operators in most countries around the world. There are some differences in the definition and identification conditions of family farms in different countries. However, all countries agree on some core definition elements and key identification conditions of family farms. Family farms in developed countries are characterized by diverse types, high degree of specialization, gradual reduction in number, increasing scale of operation, self-management and family members as the main labor force, high degree of industrial organization and diversification of farm income sources. The formation and development of family farms in developed countries are inseparable from the corresponding institutional environment and support policies. Among them, the agricultural land system is the basic institutional environment, the government support policy is a strong backing, the agricultural education and training system is an important propeller, and the agricultural society The service system is an important support.
