President Du Zhixiong Visits Russia

On November 12-18, 2013, at the invitation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President Du Zhixiong led the Agricultural Product Safety Strategy Innovation Group of the Institute of Rural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for a 7-day visit to Russia. The team visited the Economic Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Agricultural Research Institute, and Saratov Agricultural University, visited the largest agricultural and sideline product market in Saratov City, and various professional museums of Saratov Agricultural University and other teaching facilities. The person in charge conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as Russian agricultural development, China's agricultural development, world agricultural development and trade situation, and Sino-Russian agricultural economic research cooperation, and reached a high consensus and intention for cooperation.
