On December 13, 2013, the Scientific Research Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences organized a symposium on academic associations. At the meeting, the person in charge of the Scientific Research Bureau and the person in charge of the Association and Center Management Office gave a briefing and explanation on the recent reform of the association management system and the operation of the academic association of the Academy of Social Sciences. About 20 community leaders attended the forum and made speeches and exchanges on their respective situations. Tan Xuewen, secretary-general of the Association, attended the forum and put forward suggestions based on the actual situation of the Research Association.
