2021 is the centenary of the Communist Party of China. It is also the first year of the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and marching towards the second centenary goal. It is of landmark significance in the process of China's modernization. At this important historical node, the 2021 member congress and academic seminar of the China foreign agricultural economic research association (hereinafter referred to as the "2021 meeting") is scheduled to be hosted by Nanjing agricultural university from October 22 to 24, 2021. this annual meeting coincides with the 100th anniversary of agricultural economic academic education in Nanjing agricultural university. all scholars and experts are warmly welcome to participate in the academic grand meeting.

As a result of the neo-coronary pneumonia epidemic, the pattern of global economic development is undergoing profound changes, and China's economy has withstood the impact and taken the lead in achieving positive growth among the world's major economies, which is inseparable from a solid foundation for food security and the steady development of agriculture and rural areas. However, the impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic is still continuing, and it is of special importance to explore the path of agricultural and rural modernization in China in the new era from a global perspective and to deal with new problems and challenges.

1. Workshop Topics

the theme of this seminar is "The New Pattern of Agricultural Development under the Global Centennial Changes", with a number of topics:

  1. communist Party of China hundred years of agricultural modernization exploration and experience;
  2. the 14th Five-Year Plan and China's Agricultural and Rural Development in 2035;
  3. global food crisis and China's food security;
  4. changes in the international economic and trade pattern and the impact of Sino-US trade frictions on agricultural development;
  5. agricultural risk prevention and control mechanism and countermeasures to deal with social emergencies;
  6. transition Theory and International Experience of Poverty Governance;
  7. agricultural and rural policy transformation and comparison in high-income countries;
  8. food and health economic trends.

4. Traffic Reminder

(1) For representatives who take the train to get off at Nanjing Station, please take Metro Line 1 to Xinjiekou Station and change to Line 2 (towards jingtian road) to get off at xiamafang Station, and go straight for 50 meters from exit 3 to the north gate of Nanjing Agricultural University. Take a taxi to the hotel, the fare is about 25 yuan. Take bus no 36 to get off at weigang station, go 50 meters and turn right into tongwei road, transfer to No.84 to get off Tongwei Road South Station and go 90 meters ahead.

(2) For representatives who take the train to get off at Nanjing South Railway Station, please take Metro Line 1 to Xinjiekou Station and transfer to Line 2 (towards jingtian road) to get off at xiamafang station, and go straight for 50 meters from exit 3 to the north gate of Nanjing Agricultural University. Take a taxi to the hotel, the fare is about 30 yuan.

(3) For representatives arriving at Lukou International Airport by plane, please take the subway of the airport line (the domestic arrival exit on the first floor of T2 terminal building can reach the subway entrance by turning left 50 meters.) Transfer to Nanjing South Railway Station and transfer to Metro Line 1 to Xinjiekou Station and then transfer to Line 2 (towards Jingtian Road) to get off at Xiamafang Station. Take Exit 3 and go straight for 50 meters to the North Gate of Nanjing Agricultural University.
