The Third President's Office Meeting of the Eighth Council was successfully held

On September 11, 2021, the third president's office meeting of the Eighth Council of the China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association was held through an online meeting. President Yuan Peng and other 13 members of the president's office attended the meeting. The meeting heard the report of the Secretariat on the work since 2021, made arrangements for the follow-up work in 2021, and discussed the development of the seminar in the future.

Aiming at the development goals of the future research society, based on improving the ability to serve members, serve the society, and serve decision-making, the meeting put forward the following specific opinions: (1) Strengthen the institutionalization of research activities,(2) Promote the diversified transformation of results, and better play The role of think tanks,(3) Expand the social influence of the research society.

In addition, the president's office will vote on new membership applications, director addition plans and other related content.
