The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has caused heavy damage to the grain production and export of the two "granaries" of Russia and Ukraine. The grain supply in the international market has become tight, the spot price of grain period has risen in an all-round way, and the food panic has spread to the whole world. Due to the long-term prominent characteristics of food security in the Middle East and Africa, such as vulnerability, persistence, sensitivity, inducement and political relevance, the food security of the Middle East and Africa has been severely impacted under the situation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has led to the spread of panic to the whole world, causing a series of potential unstable factors such as food supply cut-off in the region, aggravation of social unrest and rising political risks, and spillover to form a global food panic, the food crisis in the Middle East and Africa has evolved into a global food security public event, which has led to increased uncertainties such as the sharp increase in food inflation pressure, the differentiation of international power, the spread of trade protectionism and the rise of food diplomacy. As a major food importer, China should attach great importance to the food crisis in the Middle East and Africa and the global food panic, establish a national food security strategy in the new era, strengthen domestic production and supply capacity, strengthen internal circulation and the construction of a unified domestic market, and build a solid food security. "Moat"; strengthen the supervision and monitoring of all links of the food supply chain, release the positive message of insisting on opening up, and regulate the guidance of public opinion at home and abroad, stabilize the overall expectations of the domestic market and international partners; strengthen the governance of grain trade, carry out the work of supplementing and strengthening the chain of the grain supply chain, consolidate the foundation of national food security, and inject more stability and certainty into domestic food security.
