Global Food Policy Report 2025

This report is the flagship annual report of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The 2025 edition is the IFPRI's 50th anniversary special edition on the theme "Food Policy in a Changing World: Experiences and Priorities". The report reviews the evolution and impact of global food system and food policy research over the past half century, and assesses how policy research can better help policymakers meet future challenges. The book has thematic and regional chapters covering topics such as land tenure, agricultural extension, social protection, gender and nutrition, conflict and political economy, and agricultural innovation, and proposes a priority research agenda for 2050. The report is open access and is available in Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Addo.
