World Food and Agriculture — Statistical Yearbook 2024
About the Yearbook
The World Food and Agriculture — Statistical Yearbook 2024 offers a synthesis of the major factors at play in the global food and agricultural landscape, drawing on data compiled by FAO statisticians. It is a primary reference for policymakers, researchers and analysts.

The publication is structured into: (1) the economic importance of agricultural activities; (2) the production, trade and prices of commodities; (3) food security and nutrition; and (4) the sustainability and environmental impact of agriculture. The 2024 edition adds newly released country-level agrifood-systems employment estimates and a new dataset on dietary-related outcomes.
