I will hold a food security seminar at the School of Economics, Henan University of Science and Technology

on May 10, 2015, the food security seminar sponsored by the Association and hosted by the School of Economics of Henan University of Science and Technology was held in Kaiyuan Campus of Henan University of Science and Technology. Professor Du Zhixiong, President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Deputy Director of the Institute of Rural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Researcher Jiang Changyun of the Institute of Industrial Economics and Technical Economics of the National Development and Reform Commission, Executive Director Li Cuixia, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Northeast Agricultural University, Professor Yang Wanjiang of the Carter Center of Zhejiang University, and Associate Researcher Hu Glacier, Deputy Secretary-General, respectively spoke at the seminar. Vice President of the Association, Xu Hui, Director of the Editorial Department of "World Agriculture", Executive Director Chen Jinsong, Editor-in-Chief, and Secretary-General Tan Xuewen also attended the meeting. Researcher Wu Haifeng, director of the Rural Institute of Henan Academy of Social Sciences, and Professor Ma Hengyun, a Yangtze River scholar of Henan Agricultural University, were also invited to attend the meeting and speak.

Professor Liu Yihai, Dean of the School of Economics of Henan University of Science and Technology and Director of the Association, and his team made outstanding contributions to the smooth convening of this seminar.
