the co-author of "World Agriculture" organized by the 1. Council entered the writing stage.

After more than a month of communication and preparation, and after the outline was discussed and revised by the president's office meeting, the authors of all 12 chapters in the outline of world agriculture were put in place. At present, the authors are drafting a detailed three-level outline and writing ideas, and will discuss with us in the near future. After the discussion is completed, they can enter the separate writing.

2. President Du Zhixiong Meets Relevant Foreign Guests

on the afternoon of May 13, President Du Zhixiong, former director of IFAD, researcher Zhang Xiaoshan and Tan Xuewen, returned together with Mr. Wu Han, a guest from the European Foundation for Human Progress, to discuss the Eating City project and other issues of interest, and to discuss the possibility, feasibility, specific contents and plans of cooperation with the Rural Development Research Institute and the Association.

On the afternoon of May 17, President Du Zhixiong met with a nine-member delegation led by Ms. Valérie BADUEL, Deputy Director General of Education and Research of the French Ministry of Agriculture. At the request of the guests, President Du introduced China's agricultural education, research and training strategy, and discussed with each other the potential opportunities for strengthening cooperation in this field between China and France. Liao Yongsong, executive director of the Association, and Li Renqing, research fellow of Rural Fu, attended the meeting and discussion.

3. 3 more than 10 new applications have been received since January.

Since March this year, the secretariat of the association has received more than 10 new applications for membership. We will conduct a review and consent process for membership applications at the end of each quarter. After the review is approved, new members will be notified in a timely manner, providing them with a membership number, and immediately fulfilling their membership rights and obligations.

4., the website of the Association has basically entered normal operation.

After the website was opened in March this year, we adjusted and improved the structure and content of the website, and basically entered the normal operation stage. The website domain name is: www.csfae.org.cn or www.csfae.cn members are welcome to visit our website frequently.

This website currently consists of seven first-level columns, such as the introduction of the Institute. Among them, the dynamic column of the society mainly publishes news information, notices and announcements and other information related to the main leaders of the research society or the research society. In addition to providing member information, the member world column will focus on introducing the elegant demeanour and research experience of the members of the society through the "member dynamics" secondary column. The results publishing column mainly publishes the important research results of the research society and its members. The foreign agricultural column is a key construction column with several secondary columns, it will become a distinctive platform for foreign agricultural economic information and data. We will also mobilize members to participate in the construction of this platform and issue relevant notices in the near future.

In addition, after soliciting opinions, we decided to adopt the previously publicized icon as the logo of the association, and explained its meaning, which can be seen on the relevant pages of the association's website.

In 5., the Council issued a number of trial versions of the in-session system.

Following the voting process of the Council, we have published a number of pilot versions of the in-session system on the Society's website. In addition to the final draft of the articles of association, other trial in-session systems include the president's office meeting system, the financial management system and the secretariat's working system. 6. Secretariat sends out the first batch of membership cards

at the beginning of May, the Secretariat of the Association sent out the first batch of membership cards. The membership card of the member who has not yet paid the membership fee has not been sent yet, and we will send it in time after receiving the membership fee. new applicants for this year's membership will undergo a qualification and approval process at the end of each quarter, as well as a membership number. The membership cards of new members will be uniformly produced at the end of the year and sent out in time after receiving the membership fee.
