Minutes of the 7th President's Office Meeting of the 6th Council of China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association

On February 15, 2016, the 7th president's office meeting (hereinafter referred to as the office meeting) of the 6th Council of China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association was held. Du Zhixiong and other 11 members of the president's office and secretariat attended the meeting, and supervisor Deng Rong attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the 2016 work plan of the research association and formed the following resolutions:

1. agreed with the proposal by the Secretariat2016 the main elements of the annual work plan. The office believes that the development of the research society should continue to be guided by academic research, and at the same time gradually explore and enhance the think tank function of the research society.

The main work in 2016 includes: successfully organizing the general meeting (annual meeting) and successfully realizing the change of the council; Continue to carry out member essay collection and excellent paper selection activities; Continue to vigorously develop members and carry out member re-registration in combination with the change of term; Continue to push forward the publishing plan; Improve the new media work of the research institute including the website, WeChat public number and QQ group; Carry out other academic exchange activities.

2. the formation of a general meeting of members and a leading group for the change of term

the office meeting decided to set up a leading group for the seventh general meeting of the Research Association and the change of the Council, which is composed of du Zhixiong, he Xiurong, Tang Zhong, Jiang Changyun, Luo Biliang, Zhou Yingheng and Zhang Yuejie. The leading group leads the Secretariat to carry out preparations for the general assembly and the change of the Council.

3. discussed and formulated the basic principles for the transition of the Council

1. The number of directors and executive directors is in line with the provisions of the Constitution, the relevant association management regulations of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the association management policy of the affiliated unit (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences); 2. The nomination of candidates for directors is mainly "incremental", and the directors who have no contact for a long time and have extremely low participation in activities in the meeting are adjusted; 3. The nomination of candidates for directors will fully consider various factors such as representativeness (institution, region, gender, age, etc.), academic achievements, participation in activities in the previous session and contribution to the research society.

4. discussion and decision2016 annual Meeting and Member Essay Theme

the office meeting decided that the theme of the 2016 annual meeting and member essay writing is "supply-side reform and agricultural transformation: foreign experience and Chinese practice", and instructed the secretariat to study and set up a number of topics and issue a notice of member essay writing as soon as possible. The office meeting also suggested that Japanese experts should be invited to attend the meeting and introduce the progress and effects of Japan's agricultural reform in the past five years.

The 5. Office will instruct the Secretariat, in the light of the discussions at the meeting,2016 the annual work plan will be improved and all work will be started as soon as possible.
