Poverty Alleviation through Education in China: Progress, Experience and Policy Reconstruction

The overall effect of education poverty alleviation in our country is obvious, and the "troika" of education funding, basic education, and vocational education has been formed. However, the scale and quality of secondary vocational education and the education and training of poor farmers are still shortcomings. In view of the goal of poverty alleviation through education in 2020, it is necessary to establish a reasonable standard and continuous mechanism for education funding, promote the basic balance of education in the county for 15 years, reduce the imbalance of "vocational education" at the Senior high school stage, promote the training of poor farmers under the framework of farmers' education, and implement result-oriented monitoring and evaluation of poverty alleviation through education.
