Notice of Essay for 2019 Annual Meeting

China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association 2019 Annual Meeting Call Notice

after research, it has been decided that the 2019 annual meeting of the China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association and the academic seminar celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China will be held around August 18, 2019 at Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry Science and Technology (Yangling, Shaanxi). The specific date is expected to be determined and notified separately. The Association will launch the essay-writing activity for the annual meeting from now on. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. submission qualification

all members of the Association are eligible to contribute. Non-members participating in essay-writing activities must submit an application form for membership at the same time or before the submission, which is regarded as a member's contribution.

2. Essay Themes and Topics

theme: Adhering to the Priority of Agricultural and Rural Development -- Economic Transformation and Policy Choice

around the theme of the essay, set the following topics, including but not limited:

agricultural and Rural Development from the Perspective of (I) International: 70 Years of Change

(II) Important Agricultural Products Guarantee Strategy

international Experience and Chinese Practice of (III) Rural Revitalization

the Allocation of Urban and Rural Resources in the Transition of (IV)

(V) agricultural supply-side structural reform

organic Connection between (VI) Small Farmers and Modern Agriculture Development

rural Governance under the Background of (VII) Rural Revitalization

poverty Alleviation Policies in (VIII) Economic Transition Period

(IX) Financial Services to Support Rural Revitalization

3. Essay Organization and Thesis Evaluation

under the leadership of the president's office, the (I) essay solicitation activities are organized and implemented by the paper evaluation committee. The paper evaluation committee formulates this year's essay collection and paper evaluation plan, and sets up an essay collection working group to be responsible for the management of essay collection.

(II), according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the management of mass organizations, this essay will not carry out the selection and award of outstanding papers.

(III), the meeting will arrange the conference proceedings for the meeting for the exchange of papers that meet the requirements.

(IV) the Association conducts academic evaluations of submitted papers that meet the requirements. The evaluation of papers adopts unified standards, follows the principles of quality first, openness and fairness, advocates academic, originality, and ideological nature, encourages foreign agricultural research and international comparisons, and encourages research reports that are original and reflective of the situation. For outstanding unpublished papers, we will:(1) give priority to speeches at the annual meeting;(2) recommend them to publications such as China's Rural economy, China's Rural observation, Reform and World Agriculture in the name of the Research Association; and (3) arrange think tanks to push excellent reflective research reports.

4. submission requirements

each (I) can only contribute one article as the first author or corresponding author.

(II) contributions should be unpublished original works. The paper should not have been published at the time of submission. If the paper has been submitted to an academic journal, the submission information shall be indicated; if the submitted paper is published before August 2019, the author shall notify the research society in time to facilitate the corresponding processing.

Please refer to the writing paradigm of academic journals such as "China's Rural Economy" and "China's Rural Observation" for (III) papers. Please refer to "China's Rural Economy" for the style of the paper, including the title, author's name and unit, Chinese abstract, keywords, text and references. The number of words in the paper is generally 8000-12000 words.

The (IV) document is in the Microsoft Word 2003-2007 format (that is,. doc format). The manuscript is titled with the title of the paper. At the beginning of the document, indicate the contribution topic and the publication information. The example format is as follows:

the (V) paper submission method is online submission, which is conducted on the official website of the China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association (www.csfae.cn), together with the conference registration. The registration system will be opened in early July 2019, and will be notified separately. Please prepare the manuscript in advance.

The deadline for submission of (VI) papers is July 20, 2019, and the selection notice will be issued before early August 2019.

The application for (VII) membership can be made during the registration of the meeting, or you can fill in the form under the member world column of the research website.
