A Study on the Impact of Supply-Side Production Changes on China’s Food Security

Under the background of the food security strategy of "basic self-sufficiency of grain and absolute security of rations", the production side of grain supply plays a key role in ensuring China's food security. In recent years, the main structure and behavior of grain production, production costs and comparative income, supply and demand matching relationship and other important changes in the production end, the food supply capacity and thus the national food security have an important impact. To this end, it is necessary to optimize the goal of food security; improve the price incentive mechanism; optimize the collection and storage control mechanism; take more measures to improve the enthusiasm of farmers and local governments to develop grain while making full use of foreign resources and international markets.
