Research on Approaches to Addressing Relative Poverty in the Pursuit of Common Prosperity
The four aspects of relative poverty in China's medium-and long-term process: China can be different from other developed countries in establishing the goal of solving relative poverty under the modern framework of common prosperity; in order to fully meet the needs of poverty and social progress monitoring and poverty reduction policies, China can formulate a diversified relative poverty standard system at this stage; to solve relative poverty, China should adhere to the "three pillars" strategy of economic growth, human capital investment and social security, which is widely adopted in the world. However, it needs to make necessary adjustments in the light of China's national conditions. In particular, it should continue to adhere to the development support strategy and policy guidance; relative poverty governance needs to be turned to routine, optimize the pattern of large-scale poverty alleviation, and implement institutionalized and legalized poverty governance.
