China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association, the eighth council members of the supplementary notice

In order to give better play to the role of the Council, the third president's office meeting of the eighth Council of the China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association decided to start the work of adding directors, which is hereby notified as follows:

general plan for the addition of 1. directors

additional quota of (I) directors

according to the requirements of the Ministry of civil affairs community management, combined with the actual development needs of the Council, the number of additional directors shall not exceed 78.

Mode of selection of candidates for (II) directors

adopt a combination of recommendation and self-recommendation.

(1) recommendation of directors: according to the principle that the president and vice president can recommend 3 candidates for directors, the executive director can recommend 2 candidates, and the director can recommend 1 candidate.

(2) Existing members of China Foreign Agricultural Economic Research Association can recommend themselves if they meet the requirements of candidates for directors.

(III) schedule

(1) The deadline for recommendation and self-recommendation is September 30;

(2) The list of candidates for directors will be publicized on October 15 (website open);

(3) The supplementary election of directors will be held at the 2021 member congress and will be held together with the 2021 annual meeting of the China Agricultural Economic Research Association. The time is tentatively scheduled for October 23-24, 2021. The venue of the meeting is Nanjing.

2. electors and candidatures

electors include existing members and members registered in 2021. Candidates for directors require:

(1) Love the motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the cause of socialism, safeguard national unity and national unity, abide by the Constitution and laws of the country, and have good moral conduct and social image;

(2) Actively participate in the work of the society and be able to make suggestions for the development of the society;

(3) Personnel engaged in policy formulation, academic research, and industry practice in related fields of agriculture and rural areas, and those with foreign research results and business practices related to agricultural and rural development are preferred;

(4) With the title of deputy senior or above in universities and research institutions (those who do not have the title conditions need to be recommended by directors), and the main research direction is related to the fields involved in the research;

(5) Serving as the chairman or general manager of an agricultural enterprise with overseas business, or the head of the relevant business department of a key leading enterprise in the industry;
