the U.S. Department of Agriculture will release its April supply and demand report on Wednesday (April 9). According to a Dow Jones survey of analysts from 17 industry institutions, analysts on average expect the report to show that Brazil's soybean production in 2013/14 is 87.4 million tons, lower than the USDA's forecast of 88.5 million tons last month, but this is still a record production scale, far higher than the output of 82 million tons in 2012/13.
The forecast range of 17 institutional analysts is 86.5 million tons to 88.5 million tons. Macquarie Bank has the lowest forecast and EDF Man Capital has the highest forecast.
