Grain: World Markets and Trade, September 2026
This report, published monthly by the USDA's Overseas Farm Service, is synchronized with the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report and specifically analyzes U.S. and global grain trade, production, consumption and inventories, covering wheat, rice and coarse grains such as corn, barley, sorghum, oats and rye. The September 2026 issue tracks the impact of the Black Sea export disruption on global wheat trade flows based on the latest production, supply and distribution data, and updates the shipment and competitive landscape of major exporting countries. The report provides a supply-demand balance sheet by variety, which is a core tool for studying global food trade flows and quarterly trade prospects, and all data are linked to the USDA's online database of production, supply and distribution, which can be cross-checked.
