Palm Oil Industry Performance, August 2026

This report is published on a monthly basis by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board and is the authoritative official data for the global supply of palm oil. In August 2026, Malaysia had 2.824 million tons of palm oil inventory and 1.817 million tons of crude palm oil production, and announced details of exports, imports, domestic consumption and sub-state production. The Malaysian Palm Oil Board also publishes crude palm oil prices on a daily basis through the official price information system. Palm oil is the world's largest vegetable oil in production and trade, and the report, together with import data from the Indian Vegetable Oil Refiners Association and monthly data from the Indonesian Palm Oil Association, constitutes the basic information on the supply side of the global oil market, all of which are free and public.
